Cut Costs and Downtime:
Cut downtime while preventing costly repairs to rolls, dies, and
delicate process equipment used in web based material
manufacturing and conversion processes with our patented
state-of-the-art Model 1032 Classic® Splice Detector™
Technology. This unique splice detector monitors the total
dielectric value at the point of inspection and therefore can
detect all sudden changes in material thickness due to splices,
tearouts, and web breaks no matter how many webs of material you
have. Installed along any convenient point in your web, our
Model 1032 Classic® Splice Detector™ will alert production
personnel at the earliest possible stage of your process.
Guarantee Product Quality:
With thousands of installed systems in 130 countries worldwide, our
Model 1032 Classic® Splice Detector™ technology ensures delivered
product quality on any grade of non-metallic web material such as coated
and non-coated papers, films, nonwovens, textiles, and tapes. Our Model
1032 Classic® Splice Detector™ can be installed on many types of
machinery including sheeters, on and off machine coaters, extrusion
laminators, supercalenders, rotogravure and flexographic processes,
holographic processes, textile and nonwoven machinery.
Minimize
Operator Intervention:
Both a signal contact closure and a signal digital pulse output are
integrated with each splice detector for control or activation of
peripheral equipment such as audio/visual alarms, counters, sorters,
coating head applicators, corona treaters, spray marking systems and
reject gate controls. This technology comes as an all in one complete
package and has universal mounting holes on the base plate. All our
Model 1032 Classic® Splice Detector™ Technologies can be combined with
our own Model 1280 Guardian® Multicolor Edge Marking™ Technology and our
Model 1122 Abolisher® Reject Gate Control™ Technology for completely
unattended operation of your production equipment.

Respond to Varying
Conditions:
Our Model 1032 Classic® Splice Detector™ sensors are
auto-calibrating and can monitor single to multiple webs of
material simultaneously eliminating the need for multiple
sensors. No adjustments, settings or re-calibrations are
required and our technology is completely unaffected by basis
weight changes, coat weight changes, material color, splice tape
type, color of splice tape and process manufacturing speeds. Our
Model 1032 Classic® Splice Detector™ automatically "Adjust
itself" for up-to-the-minute process conditions. Special
splicing tapes, colors or identification tags are not required
and the operation is unaffected by printed material. For
applications where you want just audio and visual alarming, the
Model 1032 Classic® Splice Detector™ can be integrated with our
Model 1042 AVT (Audio/Visual Alarm Technology).
Demand Proven Performance:
The Model 1032 Classic® Splice Detector™ sensor is patented and combines
innovative technology designed for reliable, stable and consistent
operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Designed to operate off of
120/220/240 VAC, 50/60Hz, consumption is as low as 5 watts. Low speed to
high speed coating, laminating, printing, packaging and specialized
converting processes, out Model 1032 Classic® Splice Detector™ is proven
time and time again to be the leader in performance, reliability and
price. With a return on investment of less than 8 hours (est.) our
technology can be implemented for as little as 120.00 USD per year with
zero maintenance requirements on average.
