It will reveal abrupt changes in web material thickness due to splices in standards and metalized conversion processes. Designed for center of web mounting, the Model 1032C Enforcer® Metalized Splice Detector™ Technology eliminates the need for repositioning to accommodate changes in web width. It can be installed at any convenient position in the web’s path to provide defect detection at the earliest possible stage of the process.

Model 1032C Enforcer® Metalized Splice Detector™ Technology Ensure Product Quality:
Our Model 1032C Enforcer® Metalized Splice Detector™ has been successfully applied to ensure delivered product quality on many different grades of material such as papers, films, foils, and plastics. This patent pending solution is designed to detect sudden changes in material thickness due to splices in metalized webs of material such as foil, holographic, food packaging, etc. Our Splice Detector monitors a single web of metalized material to a total thickness of 600 microns on-line for the detection of splices. It automatically adjusts itself to changes in product run thickness, type or caliper of material being monitored. Special splice markings are not required.

Monitor Sensitive Metalized Webs:
Time Designed for center of web mounting, the Model 1032C Enforcer® Metalized Splice Detector™ eliminates the need for repositioning to accommodate changes in web width. It can be installed at any convenient position in the web's path to provide defect detection at the earliest possible stage of the process. Both a signal contact closure and a signal digital pulse output are included with each Model 1032C Enforcer® Metalized Splice Detector™ for control or activation of audio/visual alarms, counters, sorters, and other types of processing equipment. The unit can also be combined with our multicolor spray marking or reject gate control technologies for completely unattended operation of your production equipment.

It's performance has been proven over time in installations throughout the world. Expect stable and reliable operation of our Splice Detector in your production operations. Our splice detector technology is compact, easy to install and plug and play. Containe3d in a housing 6.0" x 11.63" x 4.5" (15.20cm x 29.50cm x 11.4cm), it can be powered by 120 or 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, Single Phase. Operating temperatures up to 85°C.
